I went to the tattoo parlour at noon… left after 5pm… 5h of tattoing!!!

I love the result! on top of that the tattoo artist is a very pretty girl, so how can I complain

I have to go back there next friday for another 4h. She has done the triangle and have finished all the lines of the dragon. Next friday she will fill in the dragon. Then I go to India on the Sunday for 2 weeks. When I come back she will do the snake around the triangle and my arm.

Can’t wait for it to be finished!!! I have been thinking of getting this kind of tattoo for years… now that I am finally doing it feels weird!! hehe!! who says I am very impatient!?

Je suis alle au studio de tattouage a midi… je suis reparti a 17h… 5h de tattouage!!!

J’adore deja le resultat! en plus de ca la tatoueuse est super mignone, alors comment puis-je me plaindre!

Je dois y retourne vendredi prochain pour encore 4h. Elle a fini le triangle et aussi les lignes du dragon. Vendredi prochain elle va finir de remplir d’encre le dragon. Ensuite je vais en Inde pendant 2 semaines. Quand je reviendrais elle va faire le serpent autour du triangle et de mon bras.

J’ai trop hate que ca soit fini!!! Ca fait des annees que j’avais envie d’un tattouage comme cela… et maintenant que c’est en train de se faire c’est bizard!! hehe!! qui a dit que j’etais impatient!?

Doh! On tuesday I went to my english boxing training, I was late as usual so I rushed to the changing room… and forgot to put my brand new trainers in the locker… results… they were gone when I finished my training… gotta buy some new one today!!! annoying!!!

I would really like for the guy who nicked my trainers to wear them at the gym…

Arf! Mardi j’etait en retard pour mon entrainement de boxe anglaise… comme d’hab! donc je me suis hyper depeche dans les vestiaires et ai oublie de mettre mes baskets dans le placard… resultat… quand je suis revenu de mon entrainement elles avaient disparues… je vais devoir en acheter de nouvlles aujourd’hui!! chiant!!!

J’aimerais vraimment que le gars qui me les as piques les mettent pour venir a la gym…

What a busy weekend!! On friday I went to central london to celebrate my end of exams… ended up doing a pub cral in soho… quite interesting!
then on saturday I went to some show with a couple of friends and for a few late drinks…
On Sunday, all I wanted was 1 beer… all I got was 10!!! some of my friends are more dangerous than other I guess
On Monday I still managed to watch the latest Indiana Jones and I must say I quite like it!

I also went shopping other the weekend… spend too much money!
and I felt in love with a watch… I went to this shop to get a shirt… had to wait because the shirt was too big and they were doing some “adjustment” so it could fir me… while waiting I saw that watch… and just thought to myself… oh well! lets get it!

I had to go to the office twice this week!!! so many times hey!? that explains why I couldn’t really update the blog…
also tonight I went back to thai boxing… VERY hard training cos somehow they put me alone with one of the big guy who spent most of the time work on a bag  to teach me some new technics… was SO exhausted at the end!!! no time for a break,
Although I was told I had to wait 2 weeks to do any exercises after I have my tattoo, the guy at the boxing club told me I didn’t need to wait that long… hum.. not sure! we will see!
speaking about tatoo,.. The big day is coming soon!!!!
I want to do some google search to see what people said about that place… I am getting more and more excited about it!!! just dont look forward to the pain but I guess thats part of it!

Somehow at work I am involved with approving internet access to some internet site. today I received an email asking me to approve access to a website about fire arms and that the user was complaining it was being blocked…
guess from where that user was from…. Texas!!!
ahah… my reply was: “Sure, please provide a business reason why staff needs to access such a site and I will approve it!”
Whatever!!!

this weekend I am going to my gym member BBQ, I will first go to a party at some friends place near where I live though
And my travel to India is coming soon!!! the 9th of June!!
Next week a couple of french friends are coming from france to see me and a concert…
Just before I go to india I will also attend a UFC fight, first time!

Quel weekend charge! Le vendredi je suis alle au centre de londres pour celebrer la fin de mes exams… j’ai fini par faire un pub crawl a Soho…. interessant!
Ensuite Samedi je suis aller a un show avec des amis et quelques bieres tardives…
dimanche je suis aller a kingston pour une 1 bieres.. et ca c’est plutot tranforme en 10!!! Certains amis sont plus dangereux que d’autres!
Lundi j’ai quand meme reussi a voir le derniere indiana jones que j’ai bien aimer!

J’ai fait aussi pas mal d’achat ce weekend… depenser trop d’argent!
et je suis tombe amoureux d’une montre… Je suis aller dans un magasin pour acheter une chemise… je devais patienter quils l’ajust epour moi car c’etait trop grand… et pendant ce temps d’attente j’ai remarque cette montre… et je me suis dit… bah! et pourquoi pas! je devrais l’acheter!

J’ai du aller 2 jours a mon boulot cette semaine! c’est dure!! cela explique pourquoi je n’ai pas mis a jour mon blog…
aussi ce soir je suis retourne a mon clib de thai boxing… SUPER dure! car ils m’ont mis avec un mec tres bon qui m’a montre plein de nouvelles techniques.. mais c’etait seulement moi et lui sur un sac de frappe… et j’etais compeltmeent epuise a la fin car je ne pouvais pratiquement pas prendre de pause!!! On m’a dit qu’il fallait que je prenne 2 semaines de conge avant de faire du sport une fois que j’aurais mon tattouage… mais tout le monde au club de boxe m’a dit que je pouvais continuer a m’entrainer… a voir!!
En parlant de tatouage… le grand jour approche!!!!
Je vais devoir faire une recherche sur google sur l’artiste qui va faire mon tattouage… je deviens de plus en plus impateint de l’avoir et un peu apprehensif de la douleur! mais bon… ca fait partie du truc je suppose!

D’une maniere je suis maintenant impique au boulot a approuver les sites webs qui sont autorise ou non a etre acceder depuis le boulot et ce matin j’ai recus une demande a propos de site web d’arme a feu et pourquoi donc c’etait interdit… deviner d’ou venait cet individus…. du texas!!! j’ai repondu que je serais tout a fait content et pret a autorise l’acces a ce site web s’il pouvait me donner une bonne business raison pour que j’approuve!
n’importe quoi!!!
Ce weekend je vais aller a un BBQ organiser par ma gym, d’abord j’irais a une fete que des amis organise.
et mon voyage en inde approche a grand pas! le 9 Juin!!
La semaine prochaine un couple d’amis Francais viens me voir et aussi pour assister a un concert…
Juste avant que je parte pour l’inde je vais aller a un march UFC, pour la premiere fois!!!

Ok, so for sometime I have been speaking about getting a new tatoo…

I like tatoos… always had. I have one. And to me it is important to do a tatoo in a place that means a lot to you and for the tatoo to have a special signification and been done at an important time in your life. So right now… it seems all my criterias are there…

So today, just before I went to meet my friend I went to a tatoo studio in London and well.. that’s it… I am doing it! I have paid a deposit and I will start next friday… it will take 2 session of 4h …yup…. 8h total because it will be fairly big. slightly bigger than the one I have now.

Basically, I will have a celtic trinity triangle on my left arm, the base of that triangle will be a snake running all around my arm and from the top of the trinagle I will have a dragon going through the base of my neck and onto my chest… the style will be similar to the photo I posted a few days ago…

ahah… yup… another tatoo… it is overdue… but it will take sometihng like 8h.. it will be painful!!!!

because I am going to india on the 9th of June I will have to finish it when I come bck… so it will only be finished by the end of june… and I won’t be able to do any sport while it is not finished… a bit annoying. But, before you ask. Do I really want it? yes. Have I thought carefully about what I want? yes.

Can you convince me not to do it? no.

Ok, donc ca fait pas mal de temps que je veux un nouveau tatouage…

J’aime les tatouages… j’ai toujours aime ca. Et pour moi c’est important de faire un tatouage dans un endroit qui a une signification particuliere et qui est faire a un moment important dans la vie d’une persone. Donc maintenant.. pour moi tous les criteres sont reunis…

donc aujourd’hui, just avant que je rencontre un copain je suis alle dans un studio de tatouage a Londre et bon… bein ca y est… je vais le faire! j’ai deja paye un accompte et je vais commencer ce vendredi qui vient… ca va prendre 2 sessions de 4h.. oui… 8h au total parceque ca va etre assez gros. un peu plus gros que le tatouage que j’ai deja.

En gros, je veux avoir un triangle de trinite celtic sur mon bras gauche, a la base du triagnle ce la va etre un serpent qui fera tout le tour de mon bras et en haut du triangle partira un dragon qui ira sur ma poitrine et a la base de mon cou… le style va etre similaire a la photo que j’ai poste il y a quelque jours…

aaaaahaaah… yep… un autre tatouage… il etait temps… ca va prendre un truc comme 8h… ca va faire mal!!

parceque je vais en inde le 9 juin je vais devoir attendre que je revienne pour finir le tatouage… donc ca sera surement fini en fin juin… et je ne vais pas pouvoir faire de sport tant que ce n’est pas fini… c’est chiant. mais avant meme que vous me demandez. Est-ce que je le veux vraimment ? oui. Est-ce que j’ai pense beaucoup a ce que je veux? oui.

Est-ce que vous pouvez me convaincre de ne pas le faire? non!

At the beginning of the month I went to North Devon and drove in some of the most bizard roads I ever did! they were so narrow and with “walls” or turf and vegetation on each side… it was quite tricky when a car was coming in front of you!! because they were 2 way road! below are 2 videos I have made that day. One when I was following another car, and one when I was alone and could go a bit faster!

Au debut de ce mois je suis aller dans le nord de Devon et est conduit dans un des endroits les plus bizards! Les routes etaient hyper etroites avec des “murs” de terre et de vegetation de chaque cote… C’etait un peu difficile de conduire dans ces routes, surtout quand une voiture venait en face car ce’tait des routes a double sense! Ci dessous c’est 2 videos que j’ai faite ce jour la. Une video quand je suivais une voiture et une ou j’etais tout seul et je pouvais aller un peu plus vite!

J’ai decouvert un site il n’y a quelques jour sur un gars qui a pris une photo par jours pendant 18 ans jusqu’a ce qu’il meurt du cancer le jour de ses 41 ans. Le 25 Octobre 1997. Il s’appelait Jamie Livingston. Ce qui est touchant dans cette histoire c’est comment elle s’est fait connaitre mais aussi la maniere dont Jamie a pris ces photos.

D’apres ce que j’ai compris, 2 de ses amis ont travaille pendant des annees a faire un site web de toutes ces photos depuis qu’il est mort. Un site a ete cree et n’etais pas pret pour le public, aucune pub n’a ete faite. Mais un bloggeur d’un site web tres connus a decouver ce site par hasard… et a ete completement conquis par le mystere, beaute et emotion de ces photos. Il n’y avait que les photos, aucun noms, aucunes reference… Il a alors commence a faire un travail de detective et trouve des informations et trouve qui etait la personne qui avait pris toutes ces photos. Il a publie un post sur son blog, ce post ci dessous:

D’un cote, le post ci dessus est presque plus “emotionelle” que le site des photos car il montre:

- un desir de savoir

- un resume de ce qui est sur le site

Ce blog etait tres connu ce qui devait arriver, arriva. Des milliers de personnes sont aller sur le site de Jamie Livingston… meme la presse espagnole a apparemment publier un article et la boule de neige notoriete s’est enclenche, le site web a explose! Les 2 amis ont donc travaille pour le remettre en place et c’est chose faite:

Ce qui est aussi beau avec cette histoire c’est que cela recompense aussi un effort annonyme des 2 amis (un homme, une femme), comme cela peut se faire sentir dans cet article ou il est mentionne que la femme etait en pleur quand elle a appris ce qui se passait sur leur site de photo:

Il y a 2 choses qui me touchent le plus dans cette histoire, la premiere a ete ecrite dans le site dont je viens de donne l’URL ci dessous parfaitement (en anglais seulement)

Et aussi, parceque cette histoire est un peu proche d’une experience personelle.

I discovered a website a few days ago of a guy who took a photo a day for 18 years until he died of cancer on his 41st birthday. the 25th of October 1997. His name was Jamie Livingston. What I think is so touching in this story is how it became public and also how Jamie took his photos.

From what I understood, 2 of his friends worked for years to create a website with his photos since he died. A website has been created but it was not yet ready to be public, no publicity was done. But a blogger from a well know website found that website randomly… and he felt in love completely with its mystery, beauty and emotion of all those photos. There were only photos, no text, no name, no reference… so he started to do a detective work and managed to find information about who that person was. He published a post on his blog, the post is below:

In a way, the post linked just above is almost more “emotional” than the photo website itself because it shows:

- A desire to know

- A good summary of what is on the photo website

That blog is very well known and what should have happened, happened. Thousands of people went to the website of Jamie Livingston… even the spanish press published an article on it and the snow ball or notoriety started, the website exploded! The 2 friends worked to get it back online and it is now done:

What is beautiful in this story is that it also reward the anonymous hard work of 2 friends (a guy and a woman), as it can be felt in the following article where it is mentioned the women started crying when she learnt what was happening with the photo website:

There are 2 things that touches me the most in this story. The first has been beautifully written in the website above:

And also because this story is close to a personal experience.

J’ai eu une reunion assez importante ce matin, et assez tot, 9h! enfin pour moi c’est tot! donc je ne pouvais pas vraimment faire la fete pour la fin de mes exams hier, a la place on va faire la fete ce vendredi.
Je dois dire que je suis HYPER content de ne pas avoir eu une gueule de bois pour cette reunion!
En gros, c’etait une reunion car il y a une ou 2 semaines je me suis plaint a un de nos vendeurs cle (je crois que j’ai blogger un peu sur ca d’ailleurs). Je m’attendais donc a ce que des personnes assez importantes de cette companie viennent pour avoir une discussion assez tendue a propos de ce qui n’allait pas et ce qui devait changer… Ce a quoi je ne m’attendais pas… c’est que leur gros chef des operations et directeur marketing viennent aussi… directement depuis les USA!! Ok, cet email que j’ai envoye a ete efficace!!
C’etait un peu marrant, car mon manager est venu me voir 5 minutes avant le meeting pour que l’on discute de la facon dont on allait aborder ce meeting, et il me demande: “alors tu vas leur dire quoi?”.
Ce a quoi je reponds: “blabla… CA CA VA PAS… blabla… ET CA NON PLUS… blabla… VOUS DEVEZ CHANGER CA… blabla”
Et il me repond avec un sourire: “Ok, tu sais qui il y aura dans la piece hein?”
Moi: “Heu… non mais c’est pas important”
Lui: “Heu leur chef des operations et leur manager marketing”
Moi:”Aaaah ok… bon, je vais peut etre reformuler un peu ce que je vais dire alors! :)”

La reunion c’est bien passee. Ils sont content, on est content. Que l’on se fasse tous un calin et dansons maintenant!

Un autre truc aussi… je pense que je vais *peut-etre* commencer a venir au boulot un peu plus tot. J’etais a l’heure ce matin… mais mon manager m’a envoye un texto hier me disant qu’il y avait un paris au bureau par rapport au temps ou j’arriverais au boulot ce matin… je pensais que c’etait un peu une blague…
Je suis arrive a 8h (pour un meeting a 9h et parcequ’il pensait que je serais en retard). Des que je suis arrive, quelqu’un a crie mon nom et dit:”WOAAAAH!! tu es ici hyper tot!! ils ne vont jamais le croire!!”
ensuite une autre personne arrive… Meme crie avec un ajout:”Bien joue!!”
Ensuite mon boss… qui en fait etait dans une reunion, qui est sortie de sa salle de reunion pour me dire qu’il avait maintenant perdu son paris et qu’il devait payer le repas a quelqu’un…
finalement une autre personne arrive et me remercie… il vient de gagner un repas!

ok,ok,ok… comme je l’ai dis, je vais peut-etre devoir considerer le concept de penser a l’idee de venir un peu plus tot a partir de maintenant!

I had an important meeting this morning, quite early, 9am! well, it is early for me
So I coudn’t really celebrate the end of my exams yesterday and we will celebrate on Friday.
I have to say, I am VERY glad I did not have a hangover!
Basically that meeting was a direct result of a complain about one of our vendor I made last week (I think I blogged about it briefly). I was expecting some senior guys to turn up and have heated discussions about what was wrong and what they needed to do differently… what I wasn’t expecting was… that their big Chief Operation Officer and Marketing Director to turn up as well… all the way from the USA!!! Ok, that email I sent was effecient!!!
Was kind of funny though, cos my manager came to see me 5 minutes before the meeting was about to start to discuss how we were going to approach that meeting, and he asked: “So what are you going to say?”.
To which I replied: “blabla.. THAT IS WRONG… blabla AND THAT IS WRONG TO… blabla… YOU MUST CHANGE THIS… blabla”.
and he replied with a smile: “Right, you know who you will have in the room right?”
me: “Huh, well no… but that doesn’t matter”
Him:”Well, it is their COO and MD”
me:”Aaaahh… Ok…. well, I may rephrase things slightly differently :)”

Meeting went well. They are happy, we are happy. Let’s just all hug and dance!

On a different note though… I think I *may* have to start going to the office a bit earlier and bit more on time. I was on time this morning… but my boss sent me a text last night saying there was a bet in the office going around to when I would actually arrive for that meeting… I thought he was kind of joking…
I arrived at 8am (for a 9am meeting and especially because he thought I would be late). As I arrived, someone shouted my name and said: “WOAAAAH!! you are here so early! they never going to believe it!!!”
Then another person comes into the office… Same shouting! with an added WELL DONE!”
Then my boss… who was actually in a meeting, came out of the room to see me… and tell me that he lost his bet and now has to buy someone else lunch…
finally another person comes and thanks me… he just won a free lunch…

Ok,ok,ok… as I said, I think I may have to consider the concept of thinking about the idea of coming a bit earlier from now on!
