Le weekend anniversaire etait hyper sympas. Pas mal de personne sont venues feter les 40ans de Dave dans le nord de Devon. Etant arriver un jour en avance, un petit groupe d’entre nous sommes aller dans un pub le vendredi soir… erreure… on a fait un mini pub crawl et dans le dernier pub ils avaient de la chartreuse… grosse erreure!!!!

Le lendemain, on est aller surfer, ca ma reveiller car l’eau etait HYPER froide! Fin par contre n’a pas tenu le coup (’tit joueur va! et est aller se coucher vers les 20 heures…

On a passer la soiree a se rechauffe pret des BBQs, ensuite sous une enorme tente a boire et chanter des chansons comme au temps des scouts

Ce soir un petit groupe sont aller au pub… encore une fois…

Ayant 2 lits dans ma “hute” j’ai offert le 2e lit a Darren… enorme erreure!! Darren, si tu lis ce post… tu dois etre le champion du monde de ronflement! la seule chose qui marchait c’etait de crier son nom… donc chaque fois que je me reveillait je lui criait dessus… il baraguinait qqchose et s’arretait de ronfler!

Inutile de dire que j’etait assez fatigue dimanche! mais le retour c’est tres bien passe, il a fait super beau j’ai pus donc conduire avec le toit ouvert et mon ipod dans les oreilles

This birthday weekend was very nice. Quite a lot of people turned up to celebrate Dave’s 40th birthday in the North of Devon. As I arrived a day early a few of us went to the pub on Friday night… that was a mistake… we did a mini pub crawl and in the last pub they were selling Chartreuse drinks… BIG mistake!!!

The next day, we went surfing and it helped me waking up cos the water was SOOO cold! Fin on the other hand didn’t last long (light weigth and went to bed early…

We sepent the night warming up around the BBQ and then under a big Marquee drinking and singing songs like in the old time

That night, a few group went to the pub again and as I had 2 beds in my “shed” I offered the 2d one to Darren… BIGGEST MISTAKE!!!! Darren, if you read this post… you must be the snoring world champion! The only thing that was working was to yelled his name at him… so every time I woke up I shouted his name…

No need to say, I was pretty tired on Sunday, but driving back went quite well, it was very sunny and so I could drive with the top down and my ipod in my hears

Je me prepare a descendre dans le Devon, dans un petit village de surfer a l’ouest de l’angeleterre. Cela va faire plus de 4h de route, alors autant partir tot!

C’est pour l’anniversaire d’un ami qui a oublie de vieillir, il faite ces 40ans (il doit etre a la retraite maintenant?!) et qui croit qu’il est un super surfeur! on verra ca! en tout cas l’eau va etre froide ca j’en suis sure! dans la section “ca fait 2 ans que je n’ai pas fait ca…” et bein ca s’applique aussi au surf! ca devrait etre un bon weekend car on va etre pret de 40, et toute une ferme a ete loue. Je vais essayer de prendre pas mal de photos!

I am getting ready to go down to Devon, in a small surfing village in the west coast of England. It will take more than 4h on the road so I better leave early!

It is for the birthday of a friend who forgot to grow old, he is celebrating his 40th birthday (he must be retired now!?) and thinks he is an amazing surfer! we will see that, in any cases the water will be cold, I am sure of it! in the category “I haven’t done that in 2 years…”, well surfing is there! I am sure it will be a good weekend as we are going to be about 40, and a whole farm has been rented. I will try to get lot of photos!
