Ca y est c’est confirme, je vais partir 2 semaines en Inde a Bangalore pour le boulot du 9 au 20 Juin. J’ai deja mes vols et hotel reserve et mes derniers vaccins ce Vendredi aussi.

Je ne suis jamais aller en Inde donc ca va etre interessant! je devrais y aller 3 fois cette annee, donc pour la premiere visite je vais seulement rester a Bangalore, si j’y retourne effectivement alors je vais essayer de profiter pour aller visiter d’autre partie de l’asie (Timor?

Le post en anglais aussi a un email marrant que j’ai recus de collegues de boulot a propos de choses bizard que je verrais lorsque je serais en voiture!

That’s it, it is now confirmed I will be going 2 weeks in India in Bangalore for work from the 9th until the 20th of June. I have my flights and hotel booked, my last vaccine jab on Friday too.

I never been to India so it will be interesting! I should go 3 times this year, so for the first visit I will only stay in Bangalore, if I indeed go back then I will try to make the most of it and visit other part of Asia (Timor?

Some of my work collegues who have been there many times are trying to help me with the local culture… I just received that funny email from one of them:

1. count the number of different species of cattle / cows one sees
2. count the number of different  animals you see (birds omitted)
3. unusual animal or other sightings one sees
I saw two guys and a goat on motor cycle
I saw 2 guys herding a flock of young fowl down the street, keeping them in check with plastic grocery bags at the end of long poles.
4. how many people can be squeezed into a 3 wheeler and compare to number squeezed on a 2 wheeler
5. count how many of the 3 wheel taxi drivers drive in bare feet vs. shoes or sandals
